CITY OF HOBART SANITARY DISTRICT/STORM WATER BOARD MEETING SPECIAL MEETING OF February 25, 2016 Mr. Fulton called the meeting of the Hobart Sanitary District to order at 4:02 pm. Members in attendance: Mr. Robert Fulton, Mr. Phillip Gralik, City Engineer, Mr. Joe Broadaway and Mr. Jim Mandon. Also in attendance: Ms. Ma Lisa Cox, Recording Secretary. Members absent: Mr. Dave Hill and Attorney Anthony DeBonis. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Mr. Gralik made a motion to approve the agenda as presented, seconded by Mr. Broadaway. All aye, motion carried. (4/0) 4th STREET SOLICITATION FOR BIDS: Mr. Gralik presented to the Board the solicitation for bids for the 4th Street project. He explained that the plan had been for the Board of Public Works and Safety to bid and award these projects since they are primarily street and sidewalk projects but, because the Board of Works and Safety was not a signatory to the interagency agreement allowing the use of bond funds, the HSD is being asked to manage these projects. He noted the bids will be due March 24, 2016 and require a special meeting the last week of March for award. Mr. Manson made a motion to approve the advertisement for bids for the 4th Street project, seconded by Mr. Broadaway. All aye, motion carried. (4/0) DOWNTOWN BEAUTIFICATION SOLICITATION FOR BIDS: Mr. Gralik presented to the Board the solicitation for bids for the Downtown Beautification project. He noted the bids will be due on March 24, 2016 and require a special meeting the last week of March for award. Mr. Broadaway made a motion to approve the advertisement for bids for the Downtown Beautification project, seconded by Mr. Mandon. All aye, motion carried. (4/0) ADJOURNMENT: There being no further comments or discussion, Mr. Gralik made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Broadaway. All aye, motion carried.
