8. The City of Hollywood, Florida will be conducting a virtual Historic Preservation Board
Meeting at 3:00 PM on November 10, 2020 using Communications Media Technology (“CMT”).
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order No. 20-69 pertaining to conducting local
government meetings while under the public health emergency related to the Novel Coronavirus
Disease 2019 (COVID-19), set to expire on October 31st. In the event that the Governor extends
the order between the time of this notice and prior to the scheduled date for this meeting allowing
virtual meetings, the virtual meeting link would also be available on the link above.

Public Comment:
Any member of the public wishing to provide comments for any public hearing must submit such
comments using the following form. This form is also REQUIRED to speak via phone at the
Board meeting. Speaker registration and comments shall be submitted by 6:00 PM on Monday,
November 9, 2020. Supporting documents may be attached.

to speak via phone or provide written comments to the Board. Registered speakers via phone
shall be available during meeting times. Three contact attempts will be made. Please note that
written comments will be provided to Board Member and will not be read into the record.

This form shall be completed for each individual item. Written comments will be provided to the
Board. Oral public comment shall be limited to three minutes speaking time maximum. All
comments received during the submission period will become part of the public record .
Comments left on voicemail machines, emailed, posted to the City’s social media accounts or
submitted after 6:00 PM on Monday, November 9, 2020 shall not be accepted.
