CITY OF HORICON PERSONNEL & FINANCE February 15, 2022 The Personnel & Finance Committee met in regular session with Chairperson Frami presiding. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Members Present: Frami, Bandsma and Miller. Members Absent: None. Public Appearances: None. Motion by Miller, second by Bandsma, to approve the January 18, 2022, minutes. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Miller, second by Bandsma, to approve the purchase and program portable radios for the Police Department, 1 from SRO funding, 4 from Police Department funding and the remaining outside of budget from contingency fund in the amount of $1,500. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Frami, second by Miller, to approve Engineering Services on West Lake Street Business District Improvements in the amount of $17, 680. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Miller, second by Frami, to approve the phosphorus chemical from Martelle in the amount of $5,137.19. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Frami, second by Bandsma, to approve additional funding for the replacement of the play structure at the Aquatic Center in the amount of $3,900. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Frami, second by Miller, to approve the bills for January 2022 in the amount of $5,784,282.79. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Personnel & Finance’s next meeting will be Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. Non-Action Discussion: - Sunday, February 27th, Donkey Basketball at Horicon High School. - Discussion around ARPA funds from the Dodge County.
