CITY OF HORICON POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION MINUTES OCTOBER 12, 2022 The Police and Fire Commission of the City of Horicon met in regular session with President Neitzel presiding. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Members Present: Neitzel, Keup, Harvancik, Davison, and Hoefs. Members Absent: None. The meeting was called to order at approximately 6:00 P.M. by President Neitzel. Motion by Hoefs, seconded by Davison, to approve the September 14, 2022, meeting minutes. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Public Appearances: None. Police Department Monthly Report: − Police Chief Yahnke provided a report of recent police activities and calls for service and answered questions from the Commission. Fire Department Monthly Report: − Fire Chief Tesch was not in attendance at the meeting to provide a report. Police Chief Yahnke provided information to the Commission that the Lieutenant position would be eliminated, and two Sergeant positions would be created. Discussion was had regarding the 2022 City of Horicon Police and Fire Commission Rules. A document with revisions was presented and discussion was had regarding further revisions. This agenda item will be added to the agenda for the next meeting. The next meeting will be Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the Public Safety Building.
