City of Horicon POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION MINUTES June 14, 2023
The Police and Fire Commission of the City of Horicon met in regular session with President
Neitzel presiding. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.
Members Present: Neitzel, Keup, Harvancik, and Hoefs.
Members Absent: Davison.
Election of Vice President:
− Harvancik nominated Eric Keup and Eric Keup nominated Kevin Harvancik.
Motion by Neitzel, second by Harvancik, to nominate Eric Keup to the office of Vice President.
All voting Aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Keup, second by Hoefs, to re-elect Rachel Davison as secretary.
All voting Aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Keup, seconded by Hoefs, to approve the May 10, 2023, meeting minutes.
All voting Aye. Motion carried.
Police Department Monthly Report:
− The committee reviewed the report.
Fire Department Monthly Report:
− No report available.
The next meeting will be Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Public Safety Building.
Motion by Neitzel, second by Hoefs, to adjourn into closed session for the purpose of
interviewing candidates for Full-Time and Part-Time police officers per WI Statute 19.85(1)(c).
All voting Aye, motion carried.
The committee went into closed session at 6:08 p.m.
