Senior Activities Committee Update for Village Board September 2024 The Senior Activities Committee met on Thursday September 12th at noon. Activities since the last meeting: August 19th: Birthday Party and movie; served root beer floats in collaboration with the library. Small group, but well-received September 9th: Co ee and Conversation: Original speaker had to postpone, so Kris Brownson and Jennifer Marks shared information on emergency responders. Great information. All enjoyed and appreciated. Planned Upcoming Events: September 16th: Combined Potluck/Birthday with “Family Feud” to follow October 8th: Senior Autumn Fest 11-2. This is our 10th annual. Sponsorships and agency booth fees will cover all expenses. Meat Block is catering. Panel discussion will focus on “Safer at Home”. Representatives from HFD, HPD, Wolf River Bank, Outagamie County Housing, Rebuilding Together, and Care Patrol will participate and o er their areas of expertise in specific areas of safety. Assignment of tasks for set-up and day of event were made. Follow up and reminders will be done for agencies, panel participants, and attendees.
