Mr. Sugar. Late last year case. Work proposed, main was HardiBoard siding. Now revised
poroposal that deals with wood replacements, painting, 2 wood sills in the front of the
building. Mr. Sugar showed pictures. Damage to siding on the South side, this is replacement
area. Shutters on the front, applicant proposes to remove. Historical photos show no shutters.
Repair of existing gutter.
Clarification of: Foundation material, parged coating of the foundation. Go over the existing
foundation.
Discussion of the south side, near the new concrete that have heavy damage.
Replacement of South East side wood.
Will stop sideing at the original building line. Sand and repair the South West side of the
building.
Clear cedar to be used.
Some sections of siding to be replaced on the front, as needed.
Patch and repair as needed.
Wood frame window on the rear.
Grant, historic district subcommittee. Caputo accept, Davis 2nd. Approved.
Foundation, repair what is exposed.

Mr. Sugar, site visit week of October 6th. Noted the use of the Azek material for replacement of
deteriorated materials. Three season room on the rear of the home using the same materials.
Board commented that the Azek material matches the existing material of the house. Ballisters

will be 1/4 inch wider and deeper than the existing. Columns to be wrapped for greater depth.
Will frame the lattes used at the base of the porch.
Historic, subcomm, issue certifcute of app. Davis/Caputo. Approved.

Mr. Sugar introduced the case for a metal paneling system and a metal standing seam roof.
Reconfiguring the bay area in the front.
Sign question,
Sign is an addition to the building.
Conditions:
1. that the paneling and garage doors are centered on the wall (exit).
2. Add window to the drawing
Colors, Dark blue metal. Roof is light gray.
Overhead doors is clear plastic Polycarbonate.
Davis, motion to approve w/ window in drawing, centering of the west elevation large garage
door, proper drainage for the roof and sign addition. Grant second. Approve.

Signs, many on the property, directional some.
In the island, Ground sign, building signs.

Matte finish, material of the sign. LDC minor standards, work with staff.
Mr. .... stated did revise sign over the window, made smaller.
Enter and Exit signs size, not before AHBR. Will remove from the plan.

Mr. Sugar, series of entryways with plans for work. Replace metal rails and posts. Rear, tuck
points and new metal rails, tread replacements and stair railings replaced.
Also, replace two front doors - new doors to be fiberglass. Six or nine panel doors similar to
existing, in fiberglass.
Mr. Mills stated new railings to be higher 42 inch, to meet code. Custom fabricated railings.
Brick will be repaired as necessary. Cannot tell the condition behind the brick. Will match brick
as close as possible. Will save brick as possible.
Historic, Grant, issue certificate of app, waive 2 week. Caputo/Davis. Approve
