Public Hearings - New Business BZBA 2022-971 The subject of this hearing is for two (2) variance requests to allow construction of an accessory structure (pergola) and an eight-foot-high fence in the side yard. The variances are: 1. A variance from the requirement that accessory structures are not permitted in the side yard pursuant to section 1206.03(d)(3), “Accessory Use Development and Operational Standards - Side Yard Setbacks” to permit a pergola structure within the side yard and; 2. A variance request of four (4) feet from the maximum fence height requirement in the side yard of four (4) feet resulting in a fence height of eight (8) feet in the side yard pursuant to section 1206.03(a)(4), “Residential Accessory Uses” of the City of Hudson Land Development Code. The applicant is Jorge Martinez, 243 Boston Mills Road, Hudson, Ohio 44236. The property owners are, Jorge and Nancy Martinez, 243 Boston Mills Road, Hudson, Ohio 44236 for the property at 243 Boston Mills Road in District 3 [Outer Village Residential Neighborhood].
