NOTICE OF PROPOSED ACTION TO BE TAKEN BY CITY OF HUEYTOWN Notice is hereby given that at a public meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025, in the Hueytown City Hall located at 1318 Hueytown Road, Hueytown, AL 35023, the City Council of the City of Hueytown (the “City”) proposes to consider the adoption of a resolution or an ordinance that will grant economic incentives for Hueytown Partners LLC to lease property for the development and operation of a restaurant at 2885 Allison Bonnett Memorial Drive, Hueytown, Alabama 35023 pursuant to Amendment No. 772 to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901. The public benefit sought to be achieved by the proposed grant of economic incentives to Hueytown Partners LLC is the promotion of economic and industrial development of the City that will result in expansion and enhancement of the City’s economic and tax base, thereby providing additional revenues for municipal services, and other public needs, and increased employment opportunities within the City, promotion of the City as a center for retail and commercial activity, and provision of additional goods and services to the residents of the City. For purposes of Amendment No. 772 to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, Hueytown Partners LLC is the business entity that the City proposes to benefit by granting public funds or thing of value.
