Adoption of Ordinance 18-814 authorizing a General Election to be held on May 5, 2018, for the purpose of electing a City Council Member Place 3, A City Council Member Place 4, and a City Council Member Place 5, by the qualified voters of the City of Humble, Texas; establishing early voting locations and polling places for this election; and making provisions for conducting the election. Approval of a Variance Request made by The Rhodes School pursuant to Chapter 12, Article XI, Section 500, Subsection f, permitting the temporary use of two (2) modular classroom buildings for up to five (5) years from the date of this variance. 6. Approval of a contract renewal between the City of Humble, Texas and the Law Firm of Haley, Mathews, Winick, & Kroll, LLC to provide legislative counsel in the amount of $5,000.00 per month. 7. Executive Session will be held in the Council Conference Room. Personnel Matters {Gov’t Code Section 551.074}; possible action. The City Council may deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer(s); specifically the City Manager, City Secretary, and Fire Chief.
