MEMORANDUM
To: Mayor and City Councilmembers
Cc: Jason Stuebe, City Manager
From: Jenny Page, City Secretary
Date: May 15, 2019
Subject: May 4, 2019 General Election
The May 4, 2019 General Election was held as a joint election with Humble ISD and Harris
County Elections Division. There were no incidents or abnormalities of any significance and all
went smoothly.
The results as of 10:45 p.m. on election night are included for your review in an Unofficial
Tabulation format. In the days following the election, the Early Voting Ballot Board meets to
count mail, overseas, military, and provisional ballots that were received and add them to the
Election Day and Early Voting totals for the Official Tabulation. Harris County advises that the
Official Tabulation will not be available until Wednesday, May 15, 2019. This is also the
statutory last day to canvass or accept the official results.
Since the Official Tabulation will not be available for you or the public to review in advance of
the meeting, I will have copies available for the public at the meeting and will email the results
to you as soon as they are received and can be disbursed to you Wednesday afternoon.
I have provided the Ordinance that will be approved at the meeting for your review with blanks
that will be filled in prior to the meeting. It is in both English and Spanish as required by
Election Law. Copies of the Ordinance will also be available for the public and emailed to you.
My thanks goes to all Candidates, Council Members, and City staff for making my first election
in the City of Humble my best election ever.
