In order to advance the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called "social distancing") to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), seating will be limited to 50% Fire Code capacity or 24 people. Overflow into the hallway is allowed, but there will not be video or audio enhancement in this area. The meeting will not be available via telephone or videoconferencing. Citizens who wish to attend the City Council Meeting in person must abide by the following requirements: • Do not enter the building if you are having symptoms. Go home. • Maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet from other citizens. • Families or persons traveling together may sit together, but maintain social distancing from others. • Face coverings are encouraged, but not mandatory. 1. PUBLIC HEARING: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUMBLE, TEXAS WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 2020 AT 6:30 P.M. IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBER LOCATED IN CITY HALL, 114 WEST HIGGINS, HUMBLE, TEXAS. THE PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING IS FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE SERVICE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF HUMBLE AND THE HUMBLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT; AND AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF HUMBLE, TEXAS, TO INCLUDE 98.08 ACRES OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE J. STRANGE SURVEY, ABSTRACT 675, HARRIS COUNTY, AND ADJACENT TO RUSTIC TIMBERS DRIVE AND NORTH OF THE WILL CLAYTON PARKWAY AND OWNED BY THE HUMBLE INDPENENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT. 5. Presentation, discussion, possible action on Ordinance 20-871 extending the corporate limits of the City of Humble, Texas, to include 98.08 acres of real property located in the J. Strange Survey, Abstract 675, Harris County, and adjacent to Rustic Timbers Drive and north of the Will Clayton Parkway and owned by the Humble Independent School District; annexing to the City of Humble all of the territory within such boundaries and as shown by map attached hereto; approving the Service Plan Agreement for the territory; and making other provisions related to the subject. 6. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on approval of Resolution 20-824 of the City Council of the City of Humble, Texas authorizing the adoption of the Harris County Multi­ Hazard Mitigation Action Plan Update. 7. Presentation, possible action, discussion regarding a variance request from Chapter 38, Section 25 (7) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Humble to allow for a minimum lot size of 60 feet by 110 feet in the Timberwood Section Ten Subdivision by Candlewood Homes, Inc. 8. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on approval of a Development Plat by Magnum Logistics, Inc., Lot 18, Block 3, Humble Place Section One (1), a subdivision in Harris County, Texas, located at 1719 Humble Place Drive, according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in volume 306, Page 97 of the map records of Harris County, Texas. 9. Community announcements. The City Council will have an opportunity to address items of community interest, including: expressions of thanks, congratulations, or condolence; information regarding holiday schedules; an honorary or salutary recognition of a public official, public employee, or other citizen; a reminder about an upcoming event organized or sponsored by the City of Humble; information regarding a social, ceremonial, or community event organized or sponsored by an entity other than the City of Humble that was attended or is scheduled to be attended by a member of the City Council or an official or employee of the City of Humble; and announcements involving an imminent threat to the public health and safety of people in the City of Humble that has arisen after posting the agenda. 10. Adjourn I, the undersigned, do hereby certify that the above Notice of Meeting of the Governing Body of the City of Humble, Texas, is a true and correct copy of said Notice and that I posted a true and correct copy of said Notice on the bulletin board at City Hall, 114 West Higgins, Humble, Texas and the City's website, www.cityofhumble.com. The Agenda and Notice are readily accessible to the general public at all times. Said Notice and Agenda were posted by June 22, 2020 by 5:00 p.m. and remained so posted continuously for at least 72 hours proceeding the scheduled time of said meeting.
