Subject: Civilian Jailer Positions
Mr. Stuebe,
As per our conversations during the 2023 budget process, we agreed a total of five (5) civilian jailer positions would be
created, with three (3) of those positions being funded immediately. It was further agreed that once these initial three
(3) positions were filled, the remaining two (2) civilian jailer positions would be funded. We have since filled the three
(3) initial civilian jailer positions, with all three (3) currently actively employed with the Humble Police Department.
Therefore, I am respectfully requesting the funding for the remaining two (2) civilian jailer positions be released so that
we can initiate the hiring process. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I have already submitted the request for personnel form to Human Resources, marked “Not Budgeted”.
Respectfully,
Ken
