PUBLIC COMMENTS
The City welcomes public comments on agendized or non-agendized items, however, please note that
the Community & Library Services Commission can take no action on this date, unless the item is
agendized. Each speaker may have up to 3 minutes unless the volume of speakers warrants reducing the
time allowance and cannot donate time to others.
Individuals wishing to speak may do so in one of two (2) ways:
1. In-Person: Fill out a Request to Speak form and deliver it to the Staff Liaison. Once the Chair opens
Public Comments, in-person participants will be called to speak first.
2. In Writing: Submit written comments via email to cgomez@surfcity-hb.org by 1:00 PM on the day of
the meeting. All written communications will be forwarded to the Community & Library Services
Commission and recorded as supplemental communication.

ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS
23-337 1. Michael E. Rodgers Memorial Wall - Staff will review the memorial
design concept to be installed at the Senior Center in Central Park
central hallway.
Recommended Action:
Review and recommend the City Council approve the conceptual
design for the Michael E. Rodgers Memorial Wall located in the
central hallway at the Senior Center in Central Park.
23-340 2. Commission Project Liaisons - Staff will present a list of current
project liaison assignment as designated by Chair Edsell.
Recommended Action:
Approve the establishment of the “Commission Liaison.” The role of
the liaison will be to attend community meetings and certain staff
briefings.
