Each speaker may have up to 3 minutes unless the volume of speakers warrants reducing the time allowance and cannot donate time to others. Individuals wishing to speak may do so in one of two (2) ways: 1. In-Person: Fill out a Request to Speak form and deliver it to the Staff Liaison. Once the Chair opens Public Comments, in-person participants will be called to speak first. 2. In Writing: Submit written comments via email to cgomez@surfcity-hb.org by 1:00 PM on the day of the meeting. All written communications will be forwarded to the Community & Library Services Commission and recorded as supplemental communication. MINUTES 23-592 APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Request approval of the June 14, 2023 meeting minutes. PRESENTATION - None Page 1 of 3 Community & Library Services AGENDA July 12, 2023 Commission ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS 23-593 1. Oak View Library & Community Center - At the June 14, 2023 Commission meeting, Commission moved to table the approval of the proposed Oak View Library & Community Center Master Plan to the July meeting. Staff is recommending that the item be moved to the August meeting in order to allow staff time to prepare and provide Commission with further details. Recommended Action: Table the Oak View Library & Community Center Master Plan to the August 9, 2023 Community & Library Services Commission meeting. 23-594 2. Marina Park Redesign - Staff and David Volz Design team will present the proposed master plan prepared by David Volz Design for the Marina Park Redevelopment Project. Recommended Action: Approve the proposed master plan for recommendation to City Council. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS 23-595 1. CIP Review & Project Updates: a.
