PUBLIC COMMENTS
The City welcomes public comments on agendized or non-agendized items, however, please
note that the Community & Library Services Commission can take no action on this date, unless
the item is agendized. Each speaker may have up to 3 minutes unless the volume of speakers
warrants reducing the time allowance and cannot donate time to others.
Individuals wishing to speak may do so in one of two (2) ways:
1. In-Person: Fill out a Request to Speak form and deliver it to the Staff Liaison. Once the Chair
opens Public Comments, in-person participants will be called to speak first.
2. In Writing: Submit written comments via email to cgomez@surfcity-hb.org by 1:00 PM on the
day of the meeting. All written communications will be forwarded to the Community & Library
Services Commission and recorded as supplemental communication.

23-680 Capital Improvement Program Overview
ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS
23-681 Oak View Library & Community Center - Staff and Johnson Favaro,
LLC will present the proposed master plan for the redesign of Oak
View Community Center and Branch Library.
Recommended Action:
Approve the master plan for redevelopment of the Oak View Branch
Library, Community Center and Gymnasium and forward to City
Council for consideration.
