Each speaker may have up to 3 minutes unless the volume of speakers warrants reducing the time allowance and cannot donate time to others. Individuals wishing to speak may do so in one of two (2) ways: 1. In-Person: Fill out a Request to Speak form and deliver it to the Staff Liaison. Once the Chair opens Public Comments, in -person participants will be called to speak first. 2. In Writing: Submit written comments via email to cgomez@surfcity-hb.org by 1:00 PM on the day of the meeting. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve and make a recommendation to City Council to formally name the parkland located at 17281 Eucalyptus Lane, “Vella Park”, in honor of fallen Officer Nicholas Vella.
