(3 MINUTES PER PERSON, NO DONATING OF TIME TO OTHERS) CONSENT CALENDAR - None ADMINSTRATIVE ITEMS 19-518 DESIGN REVIEW NO. 19-003 (AT&T WIRELESS FACILITY INSTALLATION) REQUEST: To review the design, colors, and materials of a proposed 30 ft. high replacement wooden utility pole to install small cell wireless equipment at an overall height of 32 ft. 6 in. and new underground infrastructure installations in the public right-of-way. LOCATION: North side of Pacific Coast Highway, approximately 855 linear feet north of Newland Street. Recommended Action: Page 1 of 4 Design Review Board AGENDA May 9, 2019 That the Design Review Board take the following actions: A) Recommend approval of Design Review Board No. 19-003 with modifications to the Zoning Administrator based upon suggested conditions of approval. 19-546 PLANNED SIGN PROGRAM 19-002/SIGN CODE EXCEPTION 19-003 (STARBUCKS SIGNAGE) REQUEST: Request to a) amend an existing Planned Sign Program to allow for a maximum logo height of 60 inches; and b) permit a Sign Code Exception to allow one freestanding pre-menu board sign, one menu board sign, and one digital ordering sign in lieu of a maximum one menu board sign. LOCATION: 20100 Magnolia Street, 92646 (located at the southeast corner of Adams Avenue and Magnolia Street) Recommended Action: That the Design Review Board take the following actions: A) Recommend Approval of Planned Sign Program No. 19-002 and Sign Code Exception No. 19-003 to the Director of Community Development. 19-547 DESIGN REVIEW NO. 19-009 (MAIN STREET LIBRARY IMPROVEMENTS) REQUEST: To review the design, colors, and materials of proposed improvements to the Main Street Library including a proposed 6 ft. tall gate, exterior lighting fixtures, and new paint at the entrance. LOCATION: 525 Main Street, 92648 (west side of Main Street, North of 6th Street, and East of Pecan Avenue) Recommended Action: That the Design Review Board take the following actions: A) Recommend Approval of Design Review No.19-009 to the Director of Community Development. Page 2 of 4 Design Review Board AGENDA May 9, 2019 19-562 DESIGN REVIEW BOARD NO. 18-013 (FRONTIER MURAL) REQUEST: To review the design, colors, and materials for a façade remodel (murals) on the south and west exterior elevation of an existing commercial building. LOCATION: 602 Main Street, 92648 (northeast corner of Main Street and Acacia Avenue) Recommended Action: That the Design Review Board take one of the following actions: A) Recommend approval of Design Review No. 18-013 to the Planning Commission based on the Downtown Specific Plan Design Guidelines; OR B) Recommend approval with modifications of Design Review No. 18-013 to the Planning Commission based on the Downtown Specific Plan Design Guidelines; OR C) Recommend denial of Design Review No. 18-013 to the Planning Commission based on the Downtown Specific Plan Design Guidelines.
