(3 MINUTES PER PERSON, NO DONATING OF TIME TO OTHERS) PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS 22-1015 DESIGN REVIEW NO. 21-006 (THIRD STREET MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT) REQUEST: To review the design, colors, and materials of a proposed four-story mixed use development consisting of 9 residential condominium units, 755 sq. ft. of retail space, and 28 at grade and subterranean parking spaces on a vacant 8,475 sq. ft. lot. LOCATION: 321 3rd Street, 92648 (west side of 3rd Street, south of Orange Avenue) Recommended Action: That the Design Review Board take the following actions: A) Recommend approval of Design Review No. 21-006 to the Zoning Administrator with suggested conditions of approval. Page 1 of 3 Design Review Board AGENDA December 8, 2022 22-1047 DESIGN REVIEW NO. 22-009 (HYATT CABANA OUTDOOR DINING PATIO) REQUEST: To review the design, colors, and materials for a proposed 2,835 sq. ft. outdoor dining patio to be added to an existing eating and drinking establishment located along the beach boardwalk. The request includes the addition of a new trellis, seating, and 36-inch high decorative metal/cable barrier. LOCATION: 21529 Pacific Coast Highway, 92648 (Seaward of Pacific Coast Highway, between Beach Blvd. and Twin Dolphin Dr.) Recommended Action: That the Design Review Board take the following actions: A) Recommend approval of Design Review No. 22-009 to the Zoning Administrator.
