APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Review and approve minutes from the September 9, 2020 meeting.
1. Housing
Ursula Luna-Reynosa provided an update on the status of Jamboree Housing agreement for
senior affordable housing.
2. Economic Development Report
Dr. Wallace Walrod gave a presentation entitled, City of Huntington Beach Industry Cluster
and Workforce Analysis. Dr. Walrod provide an overview of findings and highlights for the
City of Huntington Beach.
3. General Updates
Ursula Luna-Reynosa provided an update on the Ruby’s Auction.
Robert Ramirez provided an update on buildings under construction in downtown, which
include retail and office spaces.
Ursula Luna-Reynosa provided updates on public right-of-way information at Pacific Coast
Highway and the Big Lots shopping center on Goldenwest Street.
Mayor Lyn Semeta requested to add “Major Projects” category as one of the items for
future agenda.
ADJOURNMENT
Meeting adjourned at 2:13 pm until November 11, 2020 at 3:30pm, which was
cancelled.
