Speakers on items scheduled for PUBLIC HEARING will be invited to speak during the public hearing. (3 MINUTES PER PERSON, NO DONATING OF TIME TO OTHERS) ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR The election of Chair and Vice-Chair will be conducted. After the Chair is elected, that person will preside over the remainder of the Commission meeting, beginning with the election of the Vice-Chair. DISTRIBUTION OF FINANCE COMMISSION PARKING PASSES INTRODUCTION OF NEW COMMISSIONER The Chair will introduce newly appointed Finance Commissioner Jay Hudson. Chief Financial Officer Gilbert Garcia will provide a recap of the fees approved by the City Council on December 18, 2018. 2. Police Chief Robert Handy and CFO Garcia will discuss false alarm fees. DISCUSSION ITEMS AND POTENTIAL RECOMMENDATIONS Mayor Erik Peterson will share his vision for the Finance Commission in 2019.
