ASCON LANDFILL PROJECT
Field work for the Final Remedy (final cleanup) began in January 2019, with direction and
oversight by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) as the lead
agency. Please use the 24-hotline for questions or concerns, 714-388-1825 (please use 911
for anything thought to be an emergency). Information and updates are posted on the project
website, www.AsconHB.com, as well as the State regulatory agency website,
www.Envirostor.dtsc.ca.gov. Sign up for email updates at www.AsconHB.com. A brief
update on actions and field activities underway during the temporary remedial work shutdown
will be provided.
MAJOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
Staff will report on status of major development projects in the southeast area
progressing through the development review process
