LOCATION: 618 Pacific Coast Highway, 92648 (north side of Pacific Coast Highway, between 6th and 7th Street) Recommended Action: That the Zoning Administrator take the following actions: A) Continue Administrative Permit No. 22-007 and Coastal Development Permit No. 22- Page 1 of 4 Zoning Administrator AGENDA November 15, 2023 013 to the December 6, 2023, Zoning Administrator Meeting. 23-1001 ADMINISTRATIVE PERMIT NO. 22-008/ COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 22-014 (620 PCH LIVE/WORK UNIT) - CONTINUED FROM THE NOVEMBER 1, 2023, ZONING ADMINISTRATOR MEETING REQUEST: To construct a new three-story 2,282 sq. ft. live/work unit with third-floor decks, a rooftop deck, an attached 358 sq. ft. two-car garage and carport, 352 sq. ft. of visitor-serving commercial, and a 352 sq. ft. accessory dwelling unit at an overall height of 40 feet. LOCATION: 620 Pacific Coast Highway, 92648 (north side of Pacific Coast Highway, between 6th and 7th Street) Recommended Action: That the Zoning Administrator take the following actions: A) Continue Administrative Permit No. 22-008 and Coastal Development Permit No. 22- 014 to the December 6, 2023, Zoning Administrator Meeting. 23-969 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 23-009 (BUI RESIDENCE AND ADU) REQUEST: To permit the construction of a new 2,220 sq. ft. single-family dwelling and a 481 sq. ft. accessory dwelling unit on a lot with a grade differential of more than three feet between the high and low points. The proposed dwellings are at an overall maximum height of 35 ft. and include third floor decks oriented toward 19th Street and the alley. LOCATION: 209 19th Street, 92648 (west side of 19th Street, south of Olive Avenue) Recommended Action: That the Zoning Administrator take the following actions: A) Approve Conditional Use Permit No. 23-009 with suggested findings and conditions of approval.
