VILLAGE OF HUNTLEY POLICE COMMISSION MEETING December 7, 2020 GENERAL SESSION MEETING MINUTES CALL TO ORDER: On Monday, December 7, 2020, a meeting of the Village of Huntley Police Commission was called to order at 10:55 A.M. remotely via GoToMeeting. PRESENT: Chairman Jim Burgess Secretary Judy Serrano Commissioner Dan Maloney Chief of Police Robert Porter Chrissy Hoover, Human Resources Manager ABSENT: PUBLIC COMMENTS: None The general session meeting minutes of November 5, 2020 and November 6, 2020 were reviewed. A MOTION was made to approve the November 5, 2020 and November 6, 2020 General Session Commission Meeting Minutes. Moved: Chairman Jim Burgess Seconded: Secretary Judy Serrano The Voice Vote noted all ayes and the motion carried. The Executive session meeting minutes of November 5, 2020 and November 6, 2020 were reviewed. A MOTION was made to approve the November 5, 2020 and November 6, 2020 Executive Session Minutes for content only. Moved: Chairman Jim Burgess Seconded: Commissioner Dan Maloney The Voice Vote noted all ayes and the motion carried. Old Business: Chrissy Hoover updated the Commission on the status of the Police Officer Eligibility List A MOTION was made to certify the results of the Final Eligibility List:. Moved: Chairman Jim Burgess Seconded: Commissioner Dan Maloney The Voice Vote noted all ayes and the motion carried. NEW BUSINESS Chief Porter presented Resource Management Associates to manage the upcoming sergeant promotion and testing process. Chrissy Hoover presented the proposed timeline for the sergeant promotion process to include the written exam on February 16, 2021, and oral interviews on February 24, 2021, with February 25, 2021 as an additional date if needed. VILLAGE OF HUNTLEY POLICE COMMISSION MEETING December 7, 2020 GENERAL SESSION MEETING MINUTES A MOTION was made to approve the Sergeant Promotion timeline and Resource Management Associates to manage the upcoming Sergeant Promotional testing process: Moved: Chairman Jim Burgess Seconded: Secretary Judy Serrano The Voice Vote noted all ayes and the motion carried. NO EXECUTIVE SESSION NEXT MEETING: February 24, 2021 at 7:00 AM OTHER BUSINESS: A meeting was scheduled for March 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM to certify the results of the Sergeant Promotional List.
