welcominghertotheCity.
8. PUBLICCOMMENT
JerryDeWittquestionedtheCity’s abilitytocompleteitsscheduledwaterlineprojectduetoapendinglawsuit.
9. MEDIAINQUIRIESRELATEDTOMATTERSONTHEAGENDA
BrandonScottofTheHuntsvilleItemaskedforanupdateontheeasementacquisitioncommittee. CouncilmemberAllensaid
theywouldmeetMonday, January13,at5:30p.m.andwouldattempttofindafairsolution.

HearannouncementsconcerningitemsofcommunityinterestfromtheMayor,Councilmembers, andCitystafffor

MayorWoodwardthankedTreyShewellforhisworkfilmingtheCouncilmeetingsandwelcomedMichaelHawkinsandJacqui
Villafranco. HealsoannouncedChiefKevinLunsford, DirectorofPublicSafety,hadreceivedhisMastersfromSHSUin
December. TheMayortoldeveryone thattheHoustonAstroswouldbeinHuntsvilleonJanuary22atKateBarrRossPark
from3:45-4:30foran “AstrosCountry”flag-raising. CouncilmemberHumphreypointedoutthemonthlymagazineoftheTexas
MunicipalLeaguecontainedanarticleontheSHSUCenterforRuralStudies. CouncilmemberBrauningerremindedallofthe
WoundedWarriorBanquetonJanuary16atthefairgroundsat5:30p.m.
11. EXECUTIVESESSION
