CouncilmemberOlsonmovedtoauthorizetheCityManagertoenterintoaninterlocalagreementwithWalkerCountyfor
theoperationsofthenewCountyjailfacilityandwassecondedbyCouncilmember Emmett. TheCityManageraskedthe
CouncilconsiderpostponingtheitemuntilMay6. Councilmember HumphreymovedtopostponetheitemtotheMay6
meetingandwassecondedbyCouncilmemberMontgomery. Themotionpassed, 8-1,Councilmember Allen voting
against.

CouncilmemberAllenmovedthe full CouncildirecttheCityManagertomaintain City-ownedlotsandwassecondedby
CouncilmemberRodriquez. CouncilmemberAllenaskedthattheCityManagerreportbackataCouncilmeetingonhowthe
issuewouldbehandled. AronKulhavyrespondedtoaquestionfromCouncilmemberBrauningertosaythat25lotswerenotpart
oftheparkssystemorheldCityfacilities,andaddressedhowthoselotswouldbeaddressedorwerecategorized. Themotion
passed, 7-2,CouncilmembersJohnsonandHumphreyvotingagainst.

Show. HeaddedthatThursday, May1,wouldbetheDowntownBusinessAlliance’sWineDown,ShopSmall. Healso
remindedeveryoneofthefreemusicseriesthenexttwoFridaysatRatherPark. MayorWoodwardsaidtheGeneralSam
HoustonFolkFestivalwouldbeonMay2-4andinvitedalltoattend.
