Approvethe2014JointElectionAgreementandElectionServicesContractwithWalkerCountyfortheNovember 4,2014election. \[LeeWoodward,CitySecretary\] CouncilmemberBrauninger movedtoapprovetheconsentagenda andwassecondedbyCouncilmemberMontgomery. Themotionpassedunanimously, 8-0. 5. STATUTORYAGENDA a. Presentation, publiccomment,discussion,andpossibleaction toconsideracontractforthedesignandcontract th administrationofway-findingsignagefortheCityofHuntsville (itempostponedfromJuly15 meeting). \[Dr. SherryMcKibben,NeighborhoodResourcesDirector\] Themotiontoapprove, fromtheJuly15,2014meeting,waspostponedtothismeetingandisthependingmotion. CouncilmemberJohnsonmovedagaintoconsideracontractforthedesignandcontractadministrationofway-finding signagefortheCityofHuntsville andwassecondedbyCouncilmemberHumphrey. Karl Davidsonpresenteda smartphoneapphewasdevelopingthathefeltwouldprovideway-findingwithflexibility atareducedcost. CityManager MattBenoitsaidmonumentsignshadbeenindefinitelypostponedbutsaidhewould, ifthisitemwasapprovedtonight, proposetotheFinanceCommitteethattheother $250,000bemovedtoGeneralFundCapitalsoitwouldnotexpirewith theendofthecurrentfiscalyear. Itwasconfirmedthatthisvotewasonlyforthefirstphase’s $ 13,600.00. Themotion passedunanimously, 8-0. b.
