City Council Finance Committee

Finance Committee Minutes March 19, 2019 Members Present: Joe Emmett, Joe Rodriquez, Paul Davidhizar and Tish Humphrey Staff Present: Steve Ritter, Aron Kulhavy, Greg Mathis The agenda items discussed were: • Approved the minutes from the March 5,2019 meeting. • Chris Pruitt with Pattillo,Brown and Hill (City Auditors) presented the 2018 CAFR. He stated that this a draft only and the final would be presented to the entire City council. • Greg Mathis presented a plan to recuperate costs incurred by the Fire Department while responding to incidents involving non-citizens. They are recommending the initiation of a cost recovery plan. The Fire Department is going to fine tune this and will bring this program back to the Finance committee in the near future for consideration.
