MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, AT CITY HALL, 1212 AVENUE M, HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS ON THE 19TH DAY OF APRIL, 2018 AT 5:30 PM. Members present: Barry; Woods; Durda; Garrison; Johnson; Jenkins; Nichols Members absent: None City staff present: Byal; Hodgson 1. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman Woods. [5:27PM] 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE a. U.S. Flag b. Texas Flag 3. INVOCATION Commissioner Barry led the invocation. 4. CONSIDER. the Minor Plat and Modification and Waiver of Subdivision Standards for the Dan Brown Subdivision located on Ball Road in the ETJ of the City of Huntsville. Chief Building Inspector Kevin Byal gave an overview of the minor plat, making note of the requested modifications/waivers of subdivision standards and dedication of right- of- way for Ball Road. Commissioner Durda moved to approve the minor plat modification and waiver of subdivision standard for the Dan Brown Subdivision. Second was by Commissioner Garrison. The vote was unanimous. 5. CONSIDER. the Final Plat of Amstad Huntsville Subdivision located on SH 30, west of the U.S. Post Office, within the City Limits of Huntsville. Chief Building Inspector Kevin Byal, gave an overview of the final plat making note of the city water main extensions required for the development of the property. Philip Bargas, project engineer, answered questions regarding the proposed apartment development for the property. Commissioner Johnson moved to accept the Final Plat of Amstad Huntsville Subdivision. Second was by Commissioner Durda. The vote was unanimous. 6. CONSIDER the minutes of the March 15, 2018 meeting. Commissioner Barry moved to accept the minutes from March 15, 2018. Second was by Commissioner Durda. The vote was unanimous. 7. PUBLIC COMMENTS There were none. 8.
