Hyattsville Resolution 2024-02: Hyattsville Climate Action Plan Development HCC-084-FY25 and Grant Application I move that the Mayor and Council introduce and adopt Hyattsville Resolution 2024-02, a Resolution of the City Council of Hyattsville, Maryland, whereby the City authorizes the submission of a grant application to the Planning Assistance to Municipalities and Communities Program to fund the development of a Climate Action Plan for the City of Hyattsville (INTRODUCTION & ADOPTION). ARPA Compliance Consultant Contract Extension and Increase HCC-109-FY25 I move that the Mayor and Council authorize the City Administrator to enter into a contract extension and increase with Thomas Michael LLC, for a term to extend through December 31, 2026 and the total contract amount not to exceed $250,000, for consulting services related to compliance with federal requirements related to the American Rescue Plan Act award funds. These funds are included in the Council approved ARPA spending plan, and the contract terms are subject to review and approval by the City Attorney. Renewal Contract with the United States Department of Treasury HCC-110-FY25 I move that the Mayor and Council authorize the City Administrator to approve a one-year renewal contract between the City of Hyattsville and the United States Department of Treasury, pending legal review and approval. The contract will require the Department of Treasury to reimburse the City for HPD officers who will provide additional security around Department of Treasury premises within the City of Hyattsville.
