Taxpayer Impact Statement This statement presents the estimated annual property tax bill for a median-valued homestead in Iowa Colony ($416,981) and compares it under the current revenue rate and the proposed tax rate options. THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR’S BUDGET BY $875,510 OR 25.88%, AND OF THAT AMOUNT $683,373 IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR. 3.
