IOWA COLONY PLANNING COMMISSION
MINUTES OF JULY 2, 2019
Members present: David Hurst, Steven Byrum-Bratsen, Steve Bradbery, Les Hosey, and Vince
Patterson
Members absent: None
Others present: Dinh Ho
1. David Hurst called the meeting to order at 7:01 P.M.
2. No comments from the public.
3. Consider approval of the June 4, 2019 minutes. Steven Byrum-Bratsen made a motion to amend
number three to reflect the record. Motion seconded by Les Hosey. Approved unanimously. Steven
Byrum- Bratsen made an amended motion to change the last months meeting minutes to reflect the
change for number three and number four. Seconded by Les Hosey. Motion approved unanimously.
4. Consider action to amend the plat for Meridiana Section 65. Les Hosey moved to accept the amended
plat for Meridiana Section 65. Seconded by Steve Bradbery. Approved unanimously.
5. Consider action for Meridiana Section 80-Special Exception for neighborhood monument signage.
Steven Byrum-Bratsen made a motion to approve Meridiana Section 80- Special Exception for
neighborhood monument signage. Seconded by Steve Bradbery. Approved unanimously.
6. Being no further business, Steve Bradbery moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Vince
Patterson. Approved unanimously.

COMMISSION OF IOWA COLONY WILL HOLD A REGULAR MEETING AT 7:00 P.M.
ON TUESDAY, JULY 2,2019, AT IOWA COLONY CITY HALL. 12003 IOWA COLONY
BOULEVARD (CR. 65) IOWA COLONY, TEXAS FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING
AND IF APPROPRIATE, TAKE ACTION WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING ITEMS.
This facility is wheelchair accessibLe and accessible parking spaces are available.
Requests for accommodations or interpreter services must be made 48 hours prior
to this meeting. Please contact the City Secretary at 281-369-2471.

the meeting, and observe a three-minute time limit.”
3. Consider approval of the June 4, 2019 minutes.
4. Consideration and possible action to amend the plat for Meridiana Section 65.
5. Consideration and possible action for Meddiana Sec 80-Special Exception for
neighborhood monument signage.
6. Adjourn.
