CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING JUNE 10, 2019 7:00 P.M. – 7:05 P.M. OPENING REMARKS: The Planning Commission of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas met in regular session on June 10, 2019. Chairman Moore opened the meeting at approximately 7:00 p.m. expressing appreciation to those in attendance. ROLL CALL: Commissioners Patrick Thomas, Vivian Brittenum, Jeff Twitty, Dan Brown, and Mark Stroud answered ROLL CALL. Chairman Jim Moore also answered roll call and declared a quorum. PRESENT (5), ABSENT (2). One open position. Others present for the meeting were Public Works Director Jim Oakley, Aaron Robinson, and interested citizens, petitioners, and press. CORRECTION AND/OR APPROVAL OF MINUTES: PUBLIC HEARING(S): REQUEST TO APPROVE PLAT(S): a. FINAL PLAT Jaxon Terrace PH 12 Mr. Aaron Robinson of Bond Engineering stated that he now has a letter of acceptance from the Wastewater Department. He then related that the Water is approved but he cannot get a letter until the plat is filed. Public Works Director Jim Oakley related that he had spoken to both Departments and they are comfortable with the utilities, roadway, and drainage. Commissioner Stroud moved, seconded by Commissioner Twitty to approve the final plat of Jaxon Terrace PH 12 as submitted. MOTION CARRIED. b. SKETCH PLAT Jaxon Terrace PH 14 Garden Homes Mr. Robinson related that he received emails regarding lotlines and zoning from Public Works Director Jim Oakley, adding that they are going to schedule a meeting to work out some details. He stated that he would like to withdraw the item at this time.
