City Council Special Meeting Minutes September 16, 2025 at 5:00 PM Jefferson City Municipal Building 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 5:00pm. 2. Roll Call PRESENT Mayor Mitch Cain Vice Mayor Kevin Bunch Councilwoman Ailene Combs Councilman Rocky Melton Councilwoman Sheala Purkey Also present were James Gallup, City Manager; Robert Burts, City Attorney; and Bettina Chandler, City Recorder. 3. Public Hearing a. Proposed Annexation of Mossy Creek Farms, Crooke Road There were no comments from the public. 4. Old Business 5. New Business a. Approve Resolution 2025-25 A Resolution to Annex Certain Territory Upon Written Consent of the Owners and to Incorporate the Same within the Boundaries of the City of Jefferson City, Tennessee Motion made by Vice Mayor Bunch, Seconded by Councilman Melton to approve Resolution 2025-25. Voting Yea: Mayor Cain, Vice Mayor Bunch, Councilwoman Combs, Councilman Melton, Councilwoman Purkey 6. Adjourn The meeting was adjourned at 5:02pm.
