MARCH 27, 2018 The Jerseyville City Council met in regular session on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at the Jerseyville City Hall. ROLL CALL: Present were Commissioners Steve Pohlman, Gary Goetten, Kevin Stork, and Mayor Bill Russell. Comm. Richard Perdun was absent. Also present was City Attorney, Bill Strang. Comm. Pohlman led the opening prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A motion was made by Comm. Stork, and seconded by Comm. Pohlman, to approve the minutes of the last regular meeting March 13, 2018. Roll call vote showed all present voted aye, no nays, motion carried. A motion was made by Comm. Stork, seconded by Comm. Goetten, to approve the bills as presented which totaled $534,565.71. Roll call vote showed all present voted aye, no nays; motion carried. A motion was made by Comm. Stork, seconded by Comm. Goetten, to approve closing Pearl Street STREET CLOSURE - NATIONAL from Washington to Lafayette from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018, for the National DAY OF PRAYER 5/3/18 Day of Prayer event. Roll call vote showed all present voted aye, no nays, motion carried. A motion was made by Comm. Goetten, seconded by Comm. Stork, to approve a tourism grant in the TOURISM GRANT-AINAD SHRINE amount of $500 for the Ainad Shrine Circus. Roll call vote showed all present voted aye, no nays, CIRCUS motion carried. A motion was made by Comm. Pohlman, seconded by Comm. Stork, to approve Option 3 of the PGAV CONTRACT TO UPDATE & contract with PGAV (Peckham, Guyton, Albers & Viets, Inc) to upgrade and print the zoning map of the PRINT THE ZONING MAP City of Jerseyville in the amount of $14,200. Roll call vote showed all present voted aye, no nays, motion carried. With no comments from the public, a motion was made by Comm. Stork, seconded by Comm. ADJOURN Pohlman, to adjourn the meeting. Roll call vote showed all present voted aye, no nays, motion carried.
