Motion to adopt Resolution No. 14 of 2024 which authorizes the signing of an addendum to the Interim Borough Manager that extend the contract for an additional 90 days with the same terms and conditions. ADJOURN  BOROUGH OF JESSUP LACKAWANNA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA RESOLUTION # 14 OF 2024 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH OF JESSUP APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE BOROUGH OF JESSUP AND INTERIM BOROUGH MANAGER THOMAS WASCURA WHEREAS, the Borough of Jessup’s position of Borough Manager is currently held by Thomas Wascura (“Wascura”) in an interim, at-will capacity; WHEREAS, the Borough of Jessup and Wascura have negotiated an employment contract that defines the term of Wascura’s employment as Interim Borough Manager and his associated benefits and obligations. WHEREAS, the Borough of Jessup and Wascura entered into an employment contract based on that bargaining process. WHEREAS, the Borough of Jessup and Wascura wish to extend that contract for a period of 90 days by entering into an addendum. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Jessup Borough Council adopts this resolution approving the addendum to the employment contract between the Borough of Jessup and Thomas Wascura attached hereto and authorizes the Borough officials to execute the same for the purposes herein contained.
