ADJOURN  BOROUGH OF JESSUP LACKAWANNA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA RESOLUTION # ____ OF 2024 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH OF JESSUP APPROVING AN INTERIM CONTRACT BETWEEN THE BOROUGH OF JESSUP AND DEREK FOZARD WHEREAS, the Borough of Jessup’s position of Chief of Police will be held by Derek Fozard in an at-will capacity; WHEREAS, the Borough of Jessup and Fozard have negotiated an interim employment contract that defines the term of Fozard’s employment as Chief of Police and his associated benefits and obligations. WHEREAS, the Borough of Jessup and Fozard desire to enter into an interim employment contract based on that bargaining process. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Jessup Borough Council adopts this resolution approving an interim employment contract between the Borough of Jessup and Derek Fozard attached hereto and authorizes the Borough officials to execute the same for the purposes herein contained.
