Beautification Committee Minutes​ Tuesday, Aug 19th, 2025​ Location In person at Johnson Municipal Building and Remote on Zoom Members (P=Present; A=Absent; R=Remote)​ Adrienne Parker P OPEN SEAT A Blake Parker P Kyle Nuse A Lauren Phille A Jo Marsan P Action Items ​ Confirm with Rosemary if there are any additional receipts submitted for the mini-grants. ​ Reach out to those who did not submit receipts for the mini-grants and inform them the funding has expired. ​ Investigate the cost and logistics of a power washer rental program. ​ Determine if the pizza oven event is happening again this fall and plan the decorations accordingly. ​ Prepare a list of potential beautification projects and priorities for the next meeting. 6:00 – Call to Order & Adjustments Adrienne calls the meeting to order at 6:00pm and asks for any additions or adjustments to the agenda. Adrienne proposes a motion to approve the meeting minutes of June 17, 2025, and Blake seconds the motion. Blake, Jo, and Adrienne vote in favor, while Lauren abstains. Adrienne moves on to the next item: the budget, mentioning Rosemary's email about the fiscal year end. Budget Discussion and Clarifications Adrienne confirms she reached out to Rosemary on July 21, nine days before the end of the fiscal year.  The group discusses the remaining budget of $691 and the new budget received on July 1. Adrienne and others clarify the budget details, including last year's expenses and income. The group discusses the allocation of the budget and the need for reimbursements for various projects. Reimbursement and Budget Allocation Adrienne mentions Kim sent pictures of hanging baskets at the pizza oven and asks if Diane sent any pictures. Lauren mentioned the number of people who submitted receipts for reimbursement, totaling five. Adrienne suggests reaching out to Rosemary for an update on any new receipts. The group decides to focus on the budget in the next meeting and to spend the remaining budget before June 3. Fall Planning and Decorations The group discusses plans for fall decorations, including mums and Halloween decorations at the pizza oven. The group talks about the issues with the compost used for plantings and the need for better soil. Adrienne suggests a high-level planning session to prioritize projects and allocate the budget.
