Others: Justin Mason (via zoom), Susan Tinker.
Eric called the meeting to order at 5:39 p.m.
Rosemary swore in the BOA members.
Eric stated that we have a request for abatement from John Devereaux (parcel #520-010) for 94
& 112 River Road West. John is unable to attend tonight in person or via Zoom. The abatement
request is for the categories “inability to pay taxes, charges, interest, and/or collection fees” and
“taxes or charges upon real or personal property lost or destroyed during the tax year.”
John has requested that the letter and photos that he submitted be read for the record on his
behalf. Eric proceeded to read the letter for the record and photos submitted were viewed as
evidence.
Other evidence submitted for the record was the tax bill, and the application that John submitted
to FEMA for disaster assistance.
With no further evidence, the meeting was paused at 5:50 p.m. to reconvene at 6:00 p.m. for the
second abatement request.
Eric called the meeting back to order at 6:00 p.m.
The second request for abatement is from Reid Savoie, Rory Savoie, Reese Savoie, Rhett
Savoie, Regina Germain, Rosanne Savoie and Rhonda Zina (parcel # 335-275) for 1733/1747
Ober Hill Road. They are unable to attend the meeting tonight.
The reason for the request is described as residential mobile home in process of being dismantled
started November 17, 2024.
Cynthia asked if they were only asking for abatement for the mobile home. Rosemary said that
is correct.

Eben indicated that the abatement request is for “taxes in which there is manifest error” and also
“taxes in which there is a mistake of the listers.”
Rosemary asked Justin if the value of the mobile home was $2,500. Justin said that it was.
Eric asked if there were any other evidence or questions. Hearing none, Eric closed the hearing.
Eben moved to go into deliberations at 6:04, Mike seconded, and the motion passed
unanimously. The board came out of deliberations at 6:45.
