Community oven committee Meeting 6-12-25 6:00 pm Legion Field AGENDA Present: Charlotte Roozekrans, Jasmine Yuris, Sophia Berard, Luke Gellatly, Aubrey Wagner, Liz Faracini, Olive Brenner, Adrienne Parker (came around 6:40pm) • Call to order 6:05 pm – Olive joining the crew as a volunteer. • Move wood from Stan’s porch to oven (a few handfuls) – crew walked over. There’s more wood than can be carried in one trip. Jas suggested someone come with a car to bring the rest of the wood off of Stan’s porch over to the oven. Thanks Stan! • Thursday night bakes a. Dates, schedule – 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/7, 8/14, 8/21, 8/28. Reviewed Excel spreadsheet for signing up for shifts. b. Front porch forum/social media – Discussion around FPF schedule and timing – once or twice before the start of the season, and once midway through (end of July). Encourage people to bring their own plates and drinks. Jasmine will add the event to the town calendar. All members present believe Adrienne may be a good person for the job, given her experience. c. Ingredients – Chef shred from Jasper Hill – Lotty will keep up with this when available. Dough – Luke in touch with Blair regarding dough, and will request baguette dough. Discussion around purchasing dough bins for the committee to use, and Luke will ask Blair if she might be able to divide the dough for us (but not rounding it). TBD. Sauce and Mozz – Sophia and Luke will reach out to Mike at the Johnson General Store about ordering big cans of tomatoes and large bags of mozzerella for the committee. Pepperoni – Lotty will reach out to Buffalo Mtn. Coop about ordering a case for the season. Flour – Lotty will check in with. Associated Buyers Club bulk order. Foote Brook veggies – Jas will get the prepaid card for the season. Fire starting – Jas will reach out to George regarding his interest in starting the fires this year. d. Music – Library will not be collaborating with the committee this year. Discussion around whether or not we will have music this year on some of the weeks. Many in favor of having music a few of the nights. Discussion around having 4 nights of music – 7/10, 7/24, 7/7, 7/28, as suggestion. Luke suggested we have a music sponsor from town. Lotty will reach out to Gene at the Woolen Mills to see if he would be interested in being our music sponsor. e. Other concerns/tasks - • Selectboard meeting 6/16 – Jasmine discussed needs to ask from the Selectboard, such as water access on the field, pavers for drainage around the oven, dough bins, stainless steel tables, sizeable trash receptable, educational video, maybe a brochure? • Other business – Adrienne would like to ask for grants. Discussion around offering supplemental veggies while waiting for pizzas to be made. • All in favor, say bye
