JOHNSON SELECTBOARD MEETING MINUTES JOHNSON MUNICIPAL BUILDING WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2025 Present: Selectboard members: Mike Dunham, Peter Hammond, Adrienne Parker, Eben Patch, Paul Warden Others: Tom Galinat, Casey Romero Note: All votes taken are unanimous unless otherwise noted. 1. Call Meeting to Order Eben called the meeting to order at 6:00. 2. Consider Additions or Adjustments to the Agenda It was agreed to add a decision on the Municipal Planning Grant match. 3. Public Comment Casey Romero said she wanted to ensure the board was going to move forward with a town administrator hire sooner rather than later. 4. Town Administrator Succession Planning The board agreed to post the town administrator position on Facebook, the town website, Front Porch Forum, and with the Vermont League of Cities and Towns. There was discussion about using a headhunter and creating an Indeed account. The board was in favor of hiring an interim town administrator right away. Tom needs to hand off passwords and documents to the board. He will have the Tech Group make his files available to Rosemary. He will complete all projects to a pass-off point and provide the board information for each grant and project. He will give the rec coordinator her annual review before he leaves. The board will continue this discussion on November 3. Eben will have a TA job description and an interim TA job description for the meeting. 5. Municipal Planning Grant Match Morristown wanted to know what match Johnson was planning on providing. Morristown has committed 15%. Paul moved to provide a 15% match for the Municipal Planning Grant, Peter seconded and the motion was passed. 6. Adjourn The meeting was adjourned at 6:49. Minutes submitted by Donna Griffiths
