Austin Jones Creek, TX 77541 (979) 233-2700 JOINT PUBLIC HEARING PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND BOARD OF ALDERMAN The Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board of Aldermen for the Village of Jones Creek, Texas will hold a Joint Public Hearing and Special Called Council meeting on June 25, 2026, at the Village Hall Located at 7207 Stephen F. Austin Road beginning at 6:00pm. Members of the public are able to attend the meeting in person and via teleconference. This written notice, the meeting agenda, is posted online at http://www.villageofjonescreektexas.com. The public were permitted to offer public comments telephonically as provided by the agenda and as permitted by the presiding officer during the meeting. A recording of the telephonic meeting will be available to the public in accordance with the Open Meetings Act upon written request. The matters discussed and acted on at the meeting are as follows: PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION 1. CALL TO ORDER OF A) THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND B) THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN 6:00 pm. 2. INVOCATION AND PLEDGE OF ALLIGENCE Scotta Stanley led the invocation. Pledge led by all. 3. ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS A) THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSIONAND B) THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN A) Scotta Stanley- Present. Rick Martin- Present. John Hudspeth- Present. Robert Geiser- Absent. B) Special Called Board of Alderman meeting cancelled due to lack of quarum. 4. COMMUNICATION OF VISITORS (PUBLIC COMMENT-ITEMS OTHER THAN PUBLIC HEARING) Section 551.007 of the Texas Government Code allows a member of the public who desires to  address the body regarding an item on an agenda for open meeting of the body to address the body regarding the item at the meeting before or during the body's consideration of the item. None. 5. OLD BUSINESS – NONE Scotta Stanley made a motion to approve the last minutes. Rick Martin seconded the motion. All were in favor. None opposed. Motion carried. 6. NEW BUSINESS a. Joint Public Hearing of the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board of Aldermen An ordinance of the Village Council of the Village of Jones Creek, Texas amending Title XV(15) of the code of ordinances concerning regulations of recreational vehicles and RV parks; providing for inspection requirements; providing for fees to be set by fee schedule; providing definitions of short-term and long-term stays; providing a penalty; providing for severability; and providing an effective date. Additionally, Recreational Vehicle Parks must maintain a log of names, addresses, phone numbers, and plate numbers of Recreational Vehicles and all vehicles at each connection site. This log must be made viewable to City officials for inspection upon request. b. The Planning and Zoning Commission - Discuss and consider making a recommendation on Ordinance 572 Regulations on RV Parks. Rick Martin made a motion to accept Ordinance 572 Regulations on RV Parks. Scotta Stanley seconded the motion. All were in favor. None opposed. Motion carried. c. The Planning and Zoning Commission - Discuss and consider making a recommendation on Resolution 26-06A Fee Schedule. Scotta Stanley made a motion to approve Resolution 26-06A Fee Schedule. John Hudspeth seconded the motion. All were in favor. None opposed. Motion carried. d. The Planning and Zoning Commission - Discuss and consider the reappointment of the expiring seats on the Planning and Zoning Commission. John Hedspeth & Rick Martin. John Hudspeth and Rick Martin requested to be reappointed on the expiring seats on the Planning and Zoning Commission. e. The Planning and Zoning Commission – excused from meeting 6:13pm- Rick Martin made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Scotta Stanley seconded the motion. All were in favor. None opposed. Motion carried.  f. The Board of Aldermen - Discuss and consider the recommendations for the Planning and Zoning Commission on Ordinance 572 Regulations on RV Parks. g. The Board of Aldermen - Discuss and consider taking action on Ordinance 572 Regulations on RV Parks. h. The Board of Aldermen - Discuss and consider taking action on Resolution 26-06A Fee Schedule. i. The Board of Aldermen – Discuss and consider the appointment or reappointment of expiring seats of Planning and Zoning Commission. j. The Board of Aldermen – Discuss and consider taking action on Resolution 26-06B Opposing Data Centers. k. The Board of Aldermen – Discuss and consider the calendar for the 2026-2027 Budget and Tax Rate. 7. COUNCIL ANNOUNCEMENTS OF ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST for Council announcements only a. Expression of thanks, congratulations, etc. b. Reminder of upcoming events organized by the Village. c. Information regarding Community events outside of the Village. d.
