City Council Absent: Mike Kidd, Place 2 City Staff Present: Lisa Dawn Cabrera, City Secretary. A. CALLTO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM PRESENT Mayor Hollarn called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm B. INVOCATION Mayor Pro-Tem Moore performed the invocation. C. PLEDGE OFALLEGIANCE Councilman Kimble led the pledges of allegiance. D. GENERALACTION ITEMS 1 Discuss, consider and take action regarding Ordinance No. 749-2019 being an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Joshua, Texas, canvassing returns and declaring the results of a general election held on Saturday,May 4,2019' forthe purpose of electing a Mayor, Council Member Place 1 and Council Member Place 3 of the City of Joshua, Texas; making findings; providing a severability clause; and providing for an effective date. Mayor Holtarn read the results of the election that was held on May 4, 2019. Mayor Pro-Tem Moore made a motion to approve Ordinance No' 749-2019, seconded Councilman Purdom.
