Heritage Preservation Committee Meeting

MINUTES HERITAGE PRESERVATION COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING MONDAY, MAY 20, 2019 6:30 PM Committee Members Present: Mike Puckett, Chairman; Rick DePriest, Council Representative; Robbie Rumfield, Property Owner Representative; and Robert Fleming, Planning & Zoning Representative. Committee Members Absent: Jema Hollingsworth, Property Owner Representative City Staff Present: Lisa Dawn Cabrera, City Secretary A. CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM IS PRESENT Chairman Puckett called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. B. CONSENT AGENDA 1. Approval of minutes from meeting dated November 14, 2017 Chairman Puckett made a motion to approve the minutes as presented, seconded by Board Member Fleming. Motion passed without opposition. C. DELIBERATION AGENDA 1. Review and recommend to Planning & Zoning Commission a Site Plan Review for property located at 107 N Main Street with the zoning of Restricted Commercial (C-1) within the Heritage Overlay District (H) with the legal description being Lots 5, 6, & 7, Block11 of the Original Town Joshua Addition in the City of Joshua, Johnson County, Texas as requested by Kris Maddox with The Maddox Group LLC. A discussion was held among the members of the Board, the applicant, and City Staff concerning the uses of the project being two (2) retail spaces and a restaurant/bar with patio seating, the patio area being closed off with wrought iron fencing, and the requirement of replatting the properties into one (1).  Board Member Fleming made a motion to recommend approval of the Site Plan to the Planning and Zoning Commission, seconded by Chairman Puckett. Motion passed without objection. D.
