MINUTES ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE DATE: Tuesday, June 9, 2020 @ 7:30 AM Kalispell City Hall, 201 1st Ave E MEMBERS PRESENT: John Hinchey (acting chair); Mark Pirrie; Janet Clark; Cara Lemire; Susanne Wigginton OTHERS PRESENT: City Staff – PJ Sorensen, Rachel Ezell, Kari Hernandez # of Guests: 2 Hear the Public: None Approval of Minutes: Mark moved to approve the May 26 minutes; Cara seconded (Approved 5-0) New Business: Building Permits: Kalispell Family Dental – 720 2nd St E; remodel – Susanne approved w/ black flashing and black store front; Cara seconded (approved 5-0). Signs: Haus Beauty Lounge – 244 E. Idaho; new sign face for legally non-confirming roof sign – Janet moved to approve; Susanne seconded (approved 5-0). Old Business: Sherwin Williams – 430 Cascade Loop; new retail building – Susanne moved to table; Janet seconded (approved to table 5-0) – the board needs to see material samples, they are not favorable to the darker colors on the new renderings, prefer the original submittal. Would possibly like the owner to come in and give his vision on the direction of future buildings in the subdivision. Other Discussion: Rachel gave the board updates on the timeline the was presented to BID on June 2nd. (See attached) Meeting Adjourned @ 8:26AM
