LIBRARY BOARD MEETING City of Kaukauna Kaukauna Public Library 207 Thilmany Rd STE 200, Kaukauna Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 5:30 PM Library Board Room In-Person & Zoom Teleconference Hybrid Meeting 1. Call meeting to order a. The meeting was called to order at 5:30p. 2. Roll call of membership a. Present: A. Neumeier, C. Fallona, C. Van Boxtel, D. Tatro, J. Vondracek, J. Van De Hey, J. Lucas, P, Davis. b. Excused: M.J. Kilgas c. Also present: A. Thiem-Menning 3. Approval of minutes from previous meeting a. Tuesday, August 26, 2025 i. C. Fallona made a motion to approve the Tuesday, August 26, 2025 meeting minutes, seconded by C. Van Boxtel. Motion carries; all in favor. b. Closed Session meeting minutes Tuesday, August 26, 2025 i. J. Van De Hey made a motion to approve the Closed Session meeting minutes Tuesday, August 26, 2025, seconded by J. Lucas. Motion carries; all in favor. 4. Public Participation and Communications a. None. 5. Action Items a. Bill Register June 2025 i. C. Fallona made a motion to approve the Bill Register June 2025. Seconded by J. Van De Hey. Motion carries; all in favor. b. Bill Register July 2025 i. D. Tatro made a motion to approve the Bill Register July 2025. Seconded by P. Davis. Motion carries; all in favor. c. Bill Register August 2025 i. J. Lucas made a motion to approve the Bill Register August 2025, seconded by J. Vondracek. Motion carries; all in favor. 6. Information Items a. Directors Report  i. Director A. Thiem-Menning walked through the 2026 budget request. b. Adult Services Librarian Report c. Youth Services Librarian Report d. Local Historian Report e. Trustee Topic: Chapter 1 f. Statistics i. A. Thiem-Menning noted that many statistics have trended down this year due to Appleton Public Library opening. Stats were higher while APL was closed, as some APL patrons made their way to Kaukauna during the closures or during the temporary locations. ii. J, Vondracek made a motion to place the reports on file, seconded by C. Van Boxtel. Motion carries; all in favor. 7. Adjournment a. The meeting adjourned at 6:37p.
