Police
Request for Opening of 3rd Detective Position
Chief of Police John Dixon requested authorization to open a third detective position internally. The part time
detective retired previously and there is a heavy workload on the two full time detectives. Chief Dixon told the
board that recently our two new officers just finished academy and will be on the road doing road patrol. Chief
Dixon informed the board that opening this position internally would just take the amount of patrol officers down
by one because they would move over to detective. This will keep the same number of employees the department
already has and budgeting will stay the same. Board Member Tara Streb made a motion to approve with a second
from Chairman Don Gura. The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays.
WWTP
Request to Pay Baker Tilly Invoice
Superintendent Patrick Howell requested authorization to pay invoice BT3542816 to Baker Tilly in the amount of
$8,637.50. This invoice is for ongoing accounting advisory services. Board Member Tara Streb made a motion to
approve with a second from Chairman Don Gura. The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays.
Sewer Adjustment- 646 Simon Street
Lucas Deck, owner of 646 Simon Street, requested a sewer adjustment of $631.35 for water that did not go down
a drain due to a leak. Superintendent Patrick Howell verified that the leak was fixed, water did not go down the
drain and recommended approving the adjustment in full. Board Member Tara Streb made a motion to approve
with a second from Chairman Don Gura. The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays.
