1. Ordinance – Fixing Salaries of Seasonal Recreation Commission employees
The Clerk reads the Ordinance by Title: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND
SUPPLEMENTING ORDINANCE #4-15 FIXING THE SALARIES OF THE VARIOUS OFFICERS,
CLERKS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE BOROUGH OF KEYPORT IN THE COUNTY OF
MONMOUTH AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY

1. Letter from Program Coordinator for Princeton University’s Community-Based Learning Initiative
(CBLI) submitting the final report from a student project in a course entitled “Climate Change and
Extreme Weather in the Garden State”

2. Letter from Keyport Fire Department requesting:
-Exclusive use of the municipal parking lot from Saturday, August 8 through Sunday August
16th
-American Legion Drive be closed to through traffic from 6PM-midnight from Monday August
10th through Saturday August 15th
-Suspension of the two-hour parking ordinance in the business district and suspension of the
No Parking side of Beers Street to Elizabeth Street from Saturday, August 8th through Sunday,
August 16th
-Use of public works equipment and DPW workers from August 10th through August 15th for
removing solid waste and recyclables and equipment to and from Firemen’s lot. The Fire
Department will make arrangements and pay for a dumpster for the removal of generated Fair
solid waste.
-Use of the Borough’s picnic tables and the portable stage from August 10 th through August
15th
-Permission to hold fireworks display on Saturday, August 15 th
-Notify Kiwanis that flea market cannot be held during this period
-Notify KBBC that the Farmer’s Market will need to be either relocated or canceled for
