Ordinance – Designating Four-Way Stop Intersections within the Borough The Clerk reads the Ordinance by Title: AMENDING CHAPTER 7 OF THE BOROUGH CODE ENTITLED “TRAFFIC” AND CHAPTER 7A ENTITLED “TRAFFIC SCHEDULES” TO DESIGNATE CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF KEYPORT AS FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS 1a. Motion to introduce: MM: 2nd: Roll Call: Goode, Pacheco, Fotopoulos, McDermott, Davidson, McNamara 1b. Motion authorizing the Clerk to publish the Ordinance as introduced in the Asbury Park Press for a public hearing MM: 2nd: Ayes: Nays: COMMUNICATIONS BY CONSENT (For Approval) 1. Recreation Committee 2021 Field Permit Application from NJ Cheetah’s Fastpitch Softball to use Cedar Street Field on Fridays beginning September 10, 2021 through October 29, 2021 from 6PM- 8PM. Recreation Committee approval pending. 2. Application requesting Use of Borough Property for a memorial gathering to be held at Waterfront Park on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 3PM-4:30PM 3. Application for a Film Permit from NBC Universal for 60 Walnut Street for Monday, September 20, 2021 from 8AM-7PM. Also using 707 Locust Street property for basecamp. Requesting police coverage for filming exterior scene. Requesting use of approximately eight parking spaces in the Municipal Lot for two catering vehicles and possibly overflow parking at Fireman’s Lot. 4. Letter from Knights of Columbus requesting to hold their Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser and Walk on Saturday, October 2, 2021 beginning at noon. Requesting assistance from Police and Fire Department. County approval of the route is pending. 5. KBBC proposal for the event “Dog Day Afternoon” to be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 12PM-5PM (rain date: October 10, 2021). Requesting closure of West Front Street, use of Mini Park stage and six picnic tables. 6. Application requesting Use of Borough Property for a group picnic for Keyport’s Cooking Group to be held at Benjamin Terry & Veterans Park on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 3PM-7PM (rain date: October 10, 2021). 7. Request from Keyport Environmental Commission to participate in a Clean Ocean Action Beach Sweeps event at Cedar Street Park on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 9AM-Noon. 2 (To Receive and File) 8. Email dated August 9, 2021 from the Environmental Commission regarding Brown’s Point Marina remediation activities. 9. Letter dated August 13, 2021 advising of the retirement of Supervising Account Clerk Diana Hoffman effective January 1, 2022. 10. Letter dated August 15, 2021 advising of the resignation of Electrical Sub Code/Inspector Frederick Hansen effective August 31, 2021. 11. Email dated August 19, 2021 advising of the resignation of KBBC Board Member Catherine Galli effective immediately. 12. Email dated September 1, 2021 advising of the resignation of NPP Stakeholder Planning Team Member Catherine Galli effective June 29, 2021.
