Citizen Comments on Agenda Items
This section allows members of the public to address the Council regarding any item(s),
other than a public hearing item, on the agenda for Council’s consideration. Each person
shall sign up in advance, may speak only one (1) time, and such address shall be limited
to four (4) minutes. A majority of the City Council is required for any time extensions. The
Mayor and Councilmembers shall have one (1) minute to respond to citizen comments
with a statement or explanation without engaging in dialogue.

9. PH-24-043 HOLD a public hearing and consider an ordinance submitted by Gary
Davis on behalf of Whitley Trucking, LLC (Case #Z24-20) to rezone Lots
1-3, Block 1 out of the Cox Addition from “B-3” (Local Business District) to
“B-C-1” (General Business and Alcohol Sales District). The subject
property is locally addressed as 1906 North 8th Street, Killeen, Texas.

Engineering & Surveying, LTD on behalf of John Helen Purser 1999 Trust
and Gary W. Purser, Jr. (Case #Z24-24) to rezone approximately 21.77
acres, being a part of Lot 12 and all of Lots 11, 15, and 17, Block 1,
Southwest Crossing Addition from “A” (Agricultural District) to “R-1” (Single
Family Residential District). The subject properties are generally located
northwest of Wells Fargo Drive between Trimmier Road and Turkey Trot
Road, Killeen, Texas.
